Railway Group D Exam 2018 which was conducted from 17 September to 17 December 2018 proved to be a moot point among its candidates after the result was declared on 5 March 2019.
There has been an incertitude pertaining to the normalization of score gained by candidates in Railway Group D Exam 2018. A lot of confusion is leading to the majority of candidates who are struggling to comprehend the normalization of their raw marks obtained in RRB Group D 2018 result.
Meanwhile, Ministry of Railways through PIB has made a step again to eradicate all the rumors regarding the adoption of new method of result preparation for RRB Group D Exam conducted in 2018. Also it has been informed that marks secured by the candidates are subjected to the same method of normalization which is being followed for nearly last 19 years. It has been stated lucidly that on normalization, marks secured by a candidate can become more than the total marks of the exam paper.
Other highlighted key points attested in PIB state that the maximum normalized marks of any candidate in Level-1 (CEN-02/2018) Computer Based Test(CBT) is 126.13. Any other marks higher than this, is pure concoction.
It is not uncommon that on normalization, marks secured by a candidate would go more than the total marks of the exam paper.
Also all the wrong information being spread by a few miscreants on various social media is nothing but a wild goose chase!
