IBPS RRB 2020 Notification

The IBPS has released the notification of RRB. Going by the calendar dates, the notification for the IBPS RRB has released on 30th June 2020. As the official notification for IBPS RRB is released, the online application portal will be activated on 01st July 2020. Check the vacancies, exam pattern, and syllabus.

Under IBPS RRB the recruitment is done for the following posts which are categorized into Office Assistant (Multipurpose) and Officer Grade:

IBPS RRB 2020 Notification: Eligibility Criteria

IBPS RRB Age Limit

  • For Officer Scale- III- Candidates should be above 21 years and below 40 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than July 3, 1980 and later than June 30, 1999.
  • For Officer Scale-II- Candidates should be above 21 years and below 32 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than July 3, 1988 and later than June 30, 1999.
  • For Officer Scale- I- Candidates should be above 18 years and below 30 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than July 3, 1990 and later than June 30, 2002.
  • For Office Assistant (Multipurpose) – Candidates should be above 18 years and below 30 years i.e. candidates should have not been born earlier than July 2, 1992 and later than July 1, 2002.

t is advised that the candidates keep a valid and active email id and contact no. throughout the IBPS RRB Recruitment Process to receive all the updates related to it. Registration

  1.  Click on the official link, provided below.
  2. Click on the Apply link given on the page. A registration link will open up in the new window.
  3. Click on New Registration in the application window.
  4. Provide personal credentials like name, parents’ name, date of birth, email id, mobile number etc.
  5. Click on the submit button to the completed online registration form of SBI PO.
  6. After the Registration, a Registration ID and a password will be sent to your mobile no. and email id.

Login

  1. Login with the provided Registration ID, date of birth and password to complete registration for SBI PO 2020.
  2. Upload your photograph and signature following the requisites mentioned by below.
  3. Upload scanned image of passport size photo (size-20 to 50 Kb) and signature (10 to 20 Kb) in JPEG /JPG format.
    Size of Photograph: 200 x 230 pixels
    Size of Signature: 140 x 60 pixels.
  4. After uploading the photograph and signature the candidates will be required to verify the details. Preview and verify the application form carefully.
  5. Lastly, pay the required application fee online.

IBPS RRB Selection Process

IBPS RRB Recruitment is a three-step process:-

  • Preliminary Examination
  • Main examination
  • Interview Round

IBPS RRB Exam Pattern

As you know that the IBPS RRB recruits candidates for two posts, i.e. Office Assistant and Officer Scale. Therefore, the exam process is different for each of the exams.

IBPS RRB Officer Assistant Exam Pattern

IBPS RRB Assistant 2020, Exam will be conducted in two phases:

  •  Preliminary Exam
  •  Mains Exam

No interview process will be conducted for selecting candidates to the post of Office Assistant. Selection will be made purely on the marks obtained by candidate in his/her Mains Examination.

There will be a penalty of 0.25 marks for every incorrect response marked by the candidate. The test will be objective in nature.

There will not be any interview after the Mains Exam to get selected for the post of Office Assistant. Selection will made solely on the scores secured by the candidate in the Mains Exam.

IBPS RRB Officer (Scale I) Exam Pattern

For IBPS RRB Officer 2020, exam will be conducted in three phases:

  1.  Preliminary Exam
  2. Mains Exam
  3. Interview Process

The final selection will be made on the cumulative score obtained by the candidate in both IBPS RRB Mains Exam and the Interview. There will be a penalty of 0.25 marks for every incorrect response marked by the candidate.

IBPS RRB 2020 Admit Card

The candidates who submit their application forms online successfully will receive the IBPS RRB. They will be eligible to appear for the online exam.
