AISSEE 2025 Age Criteria

AISSEE 2025 Eligibility Criteria

For admission to Sainik Schools to Class VI :-

1. A candidate should be between 10 and 12 years as on 31 March 2025 for admission to Class VI, i.e. he/ she should have been born between 01 April 2013 and 31 March 2015 (both days inclusive) for admission to the Academic Year 2025-26.
2. Admission for Girls is open for Class VI. Age criteria is same as for boys.

For admission to Sainik Schools to Class IX :-

1. A candidate should be between 13 and 15 years as on 31 March 2025, for admission to Class IX, i.e. he/ she should have been born between 01 April 2010 and 31 March 2012 (both days inclusive) for admission to the Academic Year 2025-26.
2. Admission for Girls is open for Class IX, subject to availability of vacancies. Age criteria is same as boys.
3. He/ She should have passed Class VIII exam from a recognised school at the time of admission.

For admission to Approved New Sainik Schools in Class VI & Class IX :-

For class wise detailed qualification must see the official Information Bulletin.

NTA AISSEE 2025 List of Required Documents

There are following list of required Documents during the submission of online application form as follows:

1. Scanned images of Candidate’s Photograph (file size: 10kb – 200 kb) in JPG format.
2. Candidate’s Signature (file size: 4kb – 30kb) in JPG format
3. Candidate’s left-hand thumb impression. (file size 10 kb – 50 kb) in JPG format. (In case of any eventuality of left thumb being unavailable, right hand thumb impression may be used).
4. Date of Birth Certificate issued by the Competent Authority.
5. Domicile Certificate.
6. Caste/ Community/ Category Certificate (if applicable).
7. Certificate of service (for Defence category-serving) and PPO for Exservicemen, if applicable.
8. Certificate from the Principal certifying that the applicant is studying in the approved New Sainik School. (Applicable only for those who are studying currently in approved New Sainik Schools).
9. The certificates as detailed above: File size (50 kb to 300 kb) in PDF.
