UPSSSC Preliminary Eligibility Test 2022 Important Instruction
If the number of applications received for Preliminary Eligibility Test-2022 is large and it is not convenient for the Commission to conduct the written examination of all the candidates in one shift/ day, then the said written examination may be conducted in more than one shift/day. May go. If the exam is conducted in more than one shift/day, the process of normalization of the scores of the candidates will be applicable.
UPSSSC Score Validity Period
The score of the candidates appearing in the Preliminary Qualifying Examination will be valid for one year from the date of uploading of the result on the website of the Commission.

Normalization Process
The normalization process will be carried out for the multi-session papers only and the following formula will be used by the commission for the purpose.
Calculation of Normalized Scores:
The normalization of marks obtained by the candidates is done based on the fundamental assumption that “in all multi-session papers, the distribution of abilities of candidates is the same across all the sessions”. The formula used in the calculation of the normalized scores is based on mean and standard deviation.
Below is the formula to be used by the authorities in the calculation of the normalized scores of the multisession examinations and papers.
Using this method, the normalized scores are calculated.
How To Download UPSSSC PET Result 2022
There are following simple steps for checking PET result as described under:
- Step- 1: At first open UPSSSC official website http://upsssc.gov.in
- Step- 2: After opening of the website navigate to Results tab.
- Step- 3: Then click on “Click Here To View Result” link.
- Step- 4: In View Results Panel click on specified link as “Click here to View Preliminary Eligibility (PET) 2022 Result/ Score Card”
- Step- 5: After opening of above link, you will be directed to result page.
- Step- 6: In the result page enter your 11 digit Registration Number, select date of birth and gender.
- Step- 7: Finally enter verification code and click on “See Result” button to get your result or score card.
