Eligibility Criteria For UPPSC Pre Exam 2023

The candidates must possess Bachelors Degree of any recognised University upto the last date for receipt of application. This should be mentioned by the candidate in the relevant column of their application form but for some posts specific qualifications have been prescribed of which the details are given below:-

Assistant Labour Commissioner Post Graduate Degree in Economics / Sociology / Commerce / Law / Labour relation / Labour welfare / Labour Law / Social work / Social welfare / Trade Management / Personnel Management.
Assistant Controller legal Measurement (Grade-II)

(1) (A) From a University established by law in India, or

(B) From any institution other than a University recognized or declared to be a University under any law, or

(C) Degree in science with physics or mechanical engineering as one of the subjects from a foreign university recognized by the Central Government ; and

(2) Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagiri Script.

Law Officer

A Candidate for direct recruitment to the post of Law Officer must possess the following qualifications:-

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a University established by law in India.
  2. Registration in the concerned Bar Council or the affiliated Bar Association recognised by the Bar Council of India and two years practice experience certificate issued/Certified by Bar Council/Bar Association.
Technical Assistant (Geology) A master’s degree with at least 50 percent mark’s in Geology or Applied Geology or Diploma in Applied Geology from Indian School of Mines and Applied Geology, Dhanbad.
Technical Assistant (Geophysics) Post graduate degree with at least 50 percent mark’s in Geophysics, Applied Geophysics, Geology or applied Geology (with physics, Mathematics at the B.Sc. level) from a university established by law in India.
Tax Assessment Officer Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or economics with 55% mark’s.
