OSSC LTR Teacher Selection Process 2024

Recruitment selection process of Leave Training Reserve (LTR) Teachers will include three stage i.e. Stage I – Preliminary Examination (Objective Type, MCQ), Stage II – Main Written Examination (Objective Type, MCQ) and Stage III – Certificate Verification.

OSSC LTR Teacher Pre Exam Syllabus 2024

Stage – I : Preliminary Examination

No. of Paper : One Paper

Marks Allotted : 100

Remarks : It is qualifying in nature. Prelim exam will only be conducted for such posts where number of valid applications are more than five times the advertised vacancies. Based on marks obtained in Preliminary examination approximately 05 times the number of candidates will be shortlisted (post wise & category wise) for appearing in Main written exam

There wll be negative marking @ 0.25 per 1 marks for each wrong response.

Syllabus for Preliminary Examination

• General Studies : Indian Constitution, Indian Economy, Indian and World Geography, History of India, History of Odisha, General issues of Environment or Climate change – 10th Standard – 30 Questions / 30 Marks
• Arithmetic : 10th Standard – 20 Questions/ 20 Marks
• Logical Reasoning and Analytical Ability, General Mental Ability : 20 Questions / 20 Marks
• Computer/ Internet Awareness – 20 Questions / 20 Marks
• Current events of National/ International Importance – 10 Marks

NOTE : 10th standard covers the syllabus upto 10th standard not syllabus of only 10th class.

• Full Marks : 150 Marks
• Level of Exam: Graduation (+2 Only for Physical Education Teacher)
