JEE Main Session 1 Admit Card 2026 Instructions
- The Admit Card will be issued provisionally to the candidates through the NTA website: https://jeemain.nta.nic.in, subject to the fulfillment of the eligibility conditions and receipt of the prescribed application fee by NTA.
- The candidate has to download the Admit Card from the NTA website. The candidate will appear in the examination at the given Centre on the date and shift/ timing as indicated in his/ her e-Admit Card.
- No candidate will be allowed to appear at the examination Centre, on the date and shift/time other than that allotted to him/ her in his/ her Admit Card.
- In case a candidate is unable to download his/her Admit Card from the website, he/she should approach the NTA Help Line Number: 011 – 40759000 between 10.00 A.M. to 05.00 P.M.
- The candidates are advised to read the instructions on the Admit Card carefully and strictly follow them during the examination.
JEE Mains Entrance Exam Scheme 2026
Paper 1: B.E./ B. Tech. in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode:

Each Subject will have two sections. Section A will be of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) and Section B will contain Questions whose answers are to be filled in as a numerical value.
There will be negative marking for incorrect answer in Section A and Section B.
How To Download JEE Main Admit Card 2026
There are following easy steps for online downloading of Joint Entrance Examination JEE (Main) 2026 admit card as under described:
- To visit NTA JEE Main official portal https://jeemain.nta.nic.in
- Navigate to middle of the web page, under Candidate Activity section click on the given link as “JEE (Main) 2026 Session 1 Admit Card”.
- You will be redirected to admit card download page of JEE Main Session 1 January examination 2026.
- In the admit card download page under Candidate’s Login section enter your Application No. and Password correctly in the specified box.
- Next, fill Security Pin as shown below in admit card download page.
- Finally click on Sign In button to download your admit card from NTA JEE Main server.
