IBPS RRB VIII Official Notification

IBPS RRB VIII 2019 official notification is out. The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts CWC RRB exam annually to recruit candidates in Group ‘A’ cadre (Officer – Scale I, Scale II, & Scale III) and Group ‘B’ cadre (Office Assistant). The selection procedure includes a two tier exam followed by interview (in Group ‘A’ cadre only). According to IBPS, there are 57 RRBs operating across the nation & contributing towards the financial inclusion of India.

 IBPS has released the notification on its website in the evening but now has reverted it from their official site. Following is the link of the notice published this evening (now reverted). There might be some changes so stay tuned for regular updates and the final notification.

Online Examination – Preliminary:

  • Officer Scale-I – 03.08.2019, 04.08.2019 and 11.08.2019 
  • Office Assistant- 17.08.2019, 18.08.2019 & 25.08.2019

Online Examination – Main / Single

  • Officers (I, II & III) – 22.09.2019 
  • Office Assistant – 29.09.2019

Declaration of Result – Main/ Single (For Officers Scale I, II and III): October 2019
Conduct of interview (For Officers Scale I, II and III): November 2019
RRB stands for Regional Rural Bank. RRBs are Indian Scheduled Commercial Banks which operates at regional level across different states & UTs. They have been created with a view to assist rural areas of India with banking, financial and other services. However, RRBs may also have branches set up in urban areas also to cater the needs of the mass. So, this is a great opportunity for aspirants who want to contribute towards the rural economy of India.
So, you might be wondering about the eligibility criteria of various posts under IBPS RRB VIII exam. Here are the eligibility norms according to previous year notification of IBPS RRB exam.
Age Limit:For Officer Scale- III (Senior Manager) –  Above 21 years  & Below 40 years.For Officer Scale- II (Manager) – Above 21 years & Below 32 years. For Officer Scale- I (Assistant Manager) – Above 18 years & Below 30 years. For Office Assistant (Multipurpose) – Between 18 years & 28 years.

Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural
Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology,
Management, Law, Economics or Accountancy;
ii. Proficiency in local language as prescribed by the
participating RRB/s*

Officer Scale-II
General Banking Officer
(Manager)
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University
or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
Preference will be given to the candidates having degree in
Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry,
Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering,
Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information
Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy.
Two years as an officer
in a Bank or Financial
Institution.



Officer Scale-II
Specialist Officers
(Manager)
Information Technology Officer
Bachelor’s degree from a recognised University in Electronics /
Communication / Computer Science / Information Technology or
its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
Desirable:
Certificate in ASP, PHP, C++, Java, VB, VC, OCP etc.
One year (in the
relevant field)
Chartered Accountant
Certified Associate (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India
One Year as a
Chartered Accountant.
Law Officer
Degree from a recognised University in Law or its equivalent with
a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
Two years as an
advocate or should have
