GATE 2024 Admit Card Important Instruction
Admit Card can ONLY be downloaded from the GATE 2024 website from 03rd January 2024. Admit Cards will NOT be sent by post or as an e-mail attachment.
Candidates must bring a print-out of the downloaded Admit Card on A4 sized paper to the Examination for the verification along with the original and valid photo Identity Document (NO photocopy / scanned copy / an expired document), which was specified during the filling up of the online application (for example: Aadhaar-UID, Passport, PAN card, Voter ID and Driving License).
The Admit Card is valid IF and ONLY IF the candidate’s photograph and signature images are clear and legible. The photograph on the Admit Card and that in the valid photo identity document SHOULD match with the appearance of the candidate on the day of examination. To ensure this, print the Admit Card on an A4 sized paper using a laser printer, preferably in colour. Both, the GATE 2024 Admit Card and Original ID proof are essential for entry into the examination hall.

For a wrong answer chosen in a MCQ, there will be negative marking. For 1-mark MCQ, 1/3 mark will be deducted for a wrong answer. Likewise, for 2-mark MCQ, 2/3 mark will be deducted for a wrong answer. There is no negative marking for wrong answer(s) to MSQ and NAT question. |
How To Download GATE 2024 Admit Card
There are following simple steps for online downloading of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2024 admit card as under described:
- At first open IISc Bangalore GATE official website gate2024.iisc.ac.in in your computer or phone browser.
- In the middle of home page scroll down and click on the given button as “Login”.
- You will be redirected to Login page of GATE 2024.
- In the login page enter your Enrollment Id / Email Address and Password in the specified field correctly.
- Next, evaluate the arithmetic expression (as shown in image) and place the value below in the input box.
- Finally click on “Login” button to download your admit card and save a copy in PDF or print out for future reference.
