IAF Group Y Medical Assistant Eligibility Criteria 2025

  1. Passed 10+2/ Equivalent Exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and with 50% marks in English. OR

    Should have passed two years’ Vocational Course with non-vocational subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.

  2. Candidate with Diploma/ B.Sc in Pharmacy : Passed 10+2/ Equivalent Exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. In addition, Diploma/ B.Sc in Pharmacy with minimum 50% marks in aggregate with valid registration from State Pharmacy Council or Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) at the time of enrolment will be mandatory requirement.

IAF Group Y Medical Assistant Medical Standards Test

  1. Height: Minimum acceptable height is 152 cms.
  2. Weight: Weight should be Proportionate to height and age as applicable for IAF.
  3. Chest: Minimum chest circumference should be 77 cms and the chest expansion should be at least 05 cms.
  4. Hearing: Candidate should have normal hearing i.e. able to hear forced whisper from a distance of 6 meters by each ear separately.
  5. Dental: Should have healthy gums, good set of teeth and minimum 14 dental points.

Air Force Group Y Medical Assistant Physical Fitness Test

PFT-I : Candidates have to complete 1.6 Kms run as per the following timing to qualify PFT-I:-

Test For candidates up to the age of 21 years For candidates above 21 years of age and holding Diploma/ B.Sc in Pharmacy
1.6 Km Run Within 07 minutes Within 07 minutes 30 seconds

PFT-II : Candidates who qualify PFT-I to undergo PFT-II after 10 minutes of recuperation time. The sequence of exercises and maximum time period are as follows:-

10 Push Ups 01 Minute Test will be conducted after 10 minutes break on completion of running
10 Sit Ups 01 Minute Test will be conducted after 02 minutes break on completion of 10 Push Ups
20 Squats 01 Minute Test will be conducted after 02 minutes break on completion of 10 Sit Ups
