Bihar BEd Entrance Exam Eligibility Criteria 2026

Eligibility for CET-B.Ed.:

Candidates with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3) or in the Master’s Degree in Sciences/ Social Sciences/ Humanities/ Commerce or Bachelor’s in Engineering/ Technology with specialisation in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto.

Eligibility for Shiksha-Shastri:

  1. Candidates with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3) with Sanskrit (as the main subject) and Master’s Degree in Sanskrit/ Archarya in traditional Sanskrit Shastra with 50% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto.
  2. Candidates with minimum 50% marks in Two Year Shastri or B.A. (including Sanskrit Subject) and Acharya (First Year) or M.A. (First Year in Sanskrit). Or such candidates with minimum 50% marks in Two Year Shastri or B.A. (including Sanskrit Subject) must complete one year bridge course to be eligible for Shiksha Shastri (B.Ed. 2026). In both cases the minimum aggregate percentage of 50% will not be determined by adding up the marks of Acharya (First Year) / M.A. (First Year) and/ or Bridge course.

Bihar CET BEd Entrance Exam Syllabus 2026

CET-B.Ed.-2026 shall be of two hours duration. Candidates have to answer 120 multiple-choice questions.

The Question Booklet shall have 120 objective type questions each carrying one mark. The maximum marks allotted to the Entrance Test is 120.
