Subedar
- Passed Higher Secondary Examination (old system).
- Passed shorthand (100 wpm) examination and Computer Proficiency Certification Test (CPCT) certificate.
Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI)
- Passed Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) system and Computer Proficiency Certification Test (CPCT). Hindi typing skills, issued by the Department of Science and Technology.
- Engineering degree/ MCA/ BCA/ M.Sc. (Computer Science/ Information Technology) or a Polytechnic Diploma approved by AICTE.
