Application Fee

  • Examination Fee: Rs.750/-
  • The examination fee shall be charged Rs.750/- for each Paper-I (A), (B), Paper-II (A), (B) separately.
  • Pay Fee Through Online Mode.

AP TET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

TET Paper-I A (Classes I to V) :

  1. +2 (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education OR
  2. +2 (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition norms and procedure), Regulations, 2002 OR
  3. +2 (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and B.El.Ed OR
  4. +2 (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2 year Diploma in Education (Special Education) OR
  5. Graduation and two year diploma in Elementary Education OR
  6. Graduation with at least 50% of marks and B.Ed. OR
  7. Post-Graduation with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade and three year integrated B.Ed/ M.Ed.

Note:- Relaxation up to 5% in the qualifying marks allowed to the SC/ ST/ BC/ PH candidates.

TET Paper-II A (Classes VI to VIII) :

Mathematics- Physical Science Teachers/ Biological Science/ Social Studies Teachers/ Language Teachers

  1. At least 50% marks either in Graduation (or) in Post-Graduation with B.Ed., OR
  2. Graduation with at least 45% marks and 1 year Bachelor of Education in accordance with the NCTE recognition norms and procedure Regulations issued from time to time in this regard. OR
  3. +2 (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and B.El.Ed OR
  4. +2 (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year B.A./ B.Sc. or B.A.Ed/ B.Sc.Ed. OR
  5. Graduation with at least 50% marks and 1 year B.Ed (Special Education) OR
  6. Post-Graduation with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade and three year integrated B.Ed-M.Ed.

Note 1:- Minimum percentage of marks in graduation shall not be applicable to those incumbents who had already taken admission to the Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Elementary Education or equivalent course prior to the 29th July, 2011.

Note 2:- The minimum qualifying marks in Graduation as 40% marks for SC/ ST/ BC and PH candidates to appear for Paper-II-A in APTET-2024 as one time measure.

Language Teachers (Classes VI to VIII) :

Graduation with Language concerned as one of the Optional Subjects (or) Bachelor of Oriental Language (or its equivalent) (or) Graduation in Literature (or) Post Graduation in Language concerned and Language Pandit Training Certificate/ B.Ed. with Language concerned as one of the Methodologies, in respect of Language Teachers.
