UP BEd Entrance Exam 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Science/ Social Science/ Humanities category with minimum 50% marks for General and Backward Classes. Candidates with minimum 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent to the above for students with specialization in Mathematics and Science in B.E. and B.Tech. (Engineering) are eligible to appear in the entrance examination.

( विज्ञान/ समाजिक विज्ञान/ मानविकी वर्ग’ में सामान्य एवं पिछड़ा वर्ग हेतु न्यूनतम 50% अंकों के साथ विधि द्वारा स्थापित किसी विश्वविद्यालय की स्नातक उपाधि अथवा स्नातकोत्तर उपाधि। बी०ई० एवं बी०टेक० (अभियांत्रिकी) में गणित एवं विज्ञान में विशेषज्ञता वाले छात्रों के लिए न्यूनतम 55% अंको के साथ अथवा उपरोक्त के समतुल्य कोई अन्य अर्हता वाले अभ्यर्थी प्रवेश परीक्षा में सम्मिलित होने हेतु अर्ह हैं। )

For Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates, candidates who have passed Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree from any university or graduate degree in B.E. and B.Tech. with specialization in Mathematics and Science or any other qualification equivalent to the above are eligible to appear in the entrance examination.

( अनुसूचित जाति एवं अनुसूचित जनजाति के अभ्यर्थियों हेतु विधि द्वारा स्थापित किसी विश्वविद्यालय की स्नातक/ स्नातकोत्तर उपाधि उत्तीर्ण अथवा गणित एवं विज्ञान में विशेषज्ञता के साथ बी०ई० एवं बी० टेक० में स्नातक उपाधि अथवा उपरोक्त के समतुल्य कोई अन्य अर्हता वाले अभ्यार्थी प्रवेश परीक्षा में सम्मिलित होने हेतु अर्ह हैं। )
