BPSC Teacher Exam Instructions 2024

• The written examination for all school teachers will be objective and multiple choice (MCQ Objective) based. Negative marking will be given for each wrong answer.
• According to the Resolution Memorandum No. – 2374, dated – 16.07.2007 and letter – 6706, dated – 01.10.2008, of the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms, Bihar, 40% of the general category candidates, 36.5% of the backward class candidates in the written examination It will be mandatory to obtain minimum qualifying marks of 34% for , Extremely Backward Class candidates and 32% for Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes, Women and Disabled (Divyang) candidates. Otherwise they will be out of the competitive examination.
• Candidates can choose any one subject in which they have passed the Teacher Eligibility Test. If the candidate has passed the Teacher Eligibility Test in one or more subjects, even in that case the candidate can choose only one subject as per his wish.

BPSC Teacher Merit List 2024

On the basis of the result of the written examination, the Commission will prepare a provisional merit list of the successful candidates. In case of equal total marks in written examination (objective) first in age and in case of equality in age, the candidate whose name is alphabetically in Devanagari script will be given preference.
