1. Bachelor of Science degree with Physics or Chemistry or Mathematics. Or
2. A Diploma in Chemical Engineering.

1. Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical or Electronics or Production Engineering; and
2. Two years’ experience in quality control or quality assurance or testing or proof in the area of design or production or maintenance of engineering equipment or system.

B.Sc degree in Physics or Chemistry or Electronics or Oceanography with two years experience in the following fields:-

1. Material (metal, metal alloys, rubber) analysis and testing techniques Or
2. Machinery noise and vibration movements; analysis and reduction techniques Or
3. Chemical analysis of oils, lubricants, electrolyte and water, etc. Or
4. Study and analysis of corrosion process and mitigation techniques.

1. Matriculation or equivalent;
2. Two years’ Certificate in Draughtsmanship from an Industrial Training Institute or equivalent Or three years apprenticeship under Apprenticeship Training Scheme in Draughtsmanship Or ITI certificate and two years Trade Apprentice Training with certificate of All India Trade Test conducted by National Council of Vocational Training in the trades of Shipwright/ Welder/ Platter/ Sheet Metal/ Ship Fitter:
3. Certificate in Automated Computer Aided Design (Auto CAD) from Department of Electronics Computer Accreditation courses (DOEACC) or equivalent.

1. 12th class pass.
2. Elementary or basic or auxiliary Fire Fighting course.

1. 12th class pass.
2. Must possess Heavy Motor Vehicle license.

1. 10th Standard pass.
2. Certificate from a recognised Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in the relevant trade.

Matriculation or equivalent and Must have knowledge of Hindi or regional language.
